Terms of service

About Loop
These terms apply to rentals made through the Loop service, operated by Loop Power Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16978364). Support is available at support@looppower.co.uk.
Using Loop
By renting a Loop power bank, you agree to use it safely, return it to a Loop station, and follow the instructions shown in the app and on screen. You must be at least 18 years old and able to pay with a valid contactless card or mobile wallet.
Charges
No deposit is held. When a power bank is released, a £0.50 authorisation is placed on your card as a validity check and reversed immediately; it is not captured. The first 2 minutes of every rental are free. Rental charges then begin: £2 for the first hour, then £1 per additional hour, subject to a £5 cap per 24-hour period. The maximum rental period is 72 hours, so the maximum charge for a returned rental is £15. When the power bank is returned and the dock confirms receipt, charging stops and the total is taken from your card. No action is required from you.
Returns and the 72-hour window
Return the power bank to any Loop station within 72 hours. If the power bank is not returned within 72 hours, a one-off charge of £20 is applied and the power bank is treated as purchased — it becomes your property and no refund is issued, even if the power bank is subsequently returned. Contact support@looppower.co.uk before the 72-hour window closes if you are unable to return the power bank and we will do our best to assist.
Lost or damaged items
If a power bank is lost or damaged due to misuse, tampering, or negligence, you may be responsible for additional replacement costs. This is separate from the standard non-return policy above. Please contact support@looppower.co.uk as soon as possible if something goes wrong.
Service availability
Station availability can vary by location and time. Loop Power Technologies Ltd may temporarily suspend service for maintenance or safety reasons.
Liability
Loop Power Technologies Ltd is not responsible for indirect losses arising from the use of a power bank. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental, where permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect service changes or legal requirements. We will notify you of material updates through the app or by email.
